I had a great time on the boat. It was my first time sleeping on a boat
and my first time in the BVI! We really enjoyed our first boat vacation!
All the islands and beaches were beautiful. The diving and snorkling was
terrific. Thank you for sharing your beautiful

back to Hitauk. We booked a week on your lovely vessel, and know it was
absolutely the right choice. We enjoyed everything about our time
together, from the history and warmth of the boat, expansive decks and
walkways, cozy and intimate cabin. Captain, we knew we were always
in very capable hands, you navigated this very sturdy vessel with safety
and comfortable enjoyment in mind. Thank you for being attentive to
every detail and need while allowing us to feel at home. We enjoyed our

It was my first time in the BVI and because of you my cruise was
fantastic, I won't forget you and I'm gonna miss you so much (and mainly
Petra's laugh!)

One would be hard pressed to find a better way to
celebrate a 60th birthday that on 60 year old Hitauk! The 60 year old
man learned the difference between plastic and real barracudas! Rick
discovered how adept Arno is with needle nose pliers - removing a hook
from a thumb - which certainly didn't happen while fishing, since that
is illegal! We all discovered what an incredible chef Petra is, each
meal surpassing the last - dark and stormies, dancing on deck,
snorkeling the Indians, exploring the Baths, Petra hunting down sweet
vermouth for those manhattans, wine at lunch, impeccable service and
lots and lots of laughs. There is not enough "space" to list all the
memories we will forever cherish. Danke Schone and Mutle Gracie from us
all - Jo & Rick and Jane & Fred - We will be back on Jo, Rick and Jane's
60th birthdays!

Where do we even begin? This was the best honeymoon we could ever
imagine. We thank you for a fabulous week full of adventure and
relaxation. From the night tarpon fishing to Allison's first SCUBA dive,
we knew we were in for the trip of a lifetime. The food was amazing and
we can't wait to try the raclette [cheese] at home. Petra's excellent
cooking along with her contagious laugh makes each meal an unforgettable
dining experience. The Hitauk is in a class of its own with its great
deck space, airconditioned cabin (when needed) and Captain Arno who
always puts safety first. You two are truly wonderful hosts and friends.
We feel lucky to have had the opportunity to meet you. Our door in Texas

We came on board the Sea Chateau with a major lifes' decision ahead of
us. After a week at sea and hours of helpful advice from Petra & Zach -
I am pleased to say that I am seeing things with much more clarity. I
now feel certain that the dark winters, salmon fishing, bear hunting &
the risk of becoming morbidly obese is just the life I had been hoping
for. Easy for you to say (as you sail around paradise). "Think of Alaska
as a great Adventure".
Before this page runs out of space - let us say a most heartfelt "Thank
You" for the trip of a lifetime. This experience was so rich in many
ways... rich in friendship, food, scenery & adventure and for that
reason, life as we knew it will never be quite the same. Petra, Arno &

We just returned from our short charter on Feeling Blue and would like
to touch base with you. Arno and Petra would make a dingy charter an
experience of a lifetime. We could have not asked for a better crew or
experience. We enjoyed an almost constant flow of liquid sunshine for 5
days, however a spirits were never dampened. We could have never, in our
wildest imagination, anticipated the level of professionalism, service,
comfort and camaraderie that Arno, Petra and Zack extended to us. Within
five minutes of stepping on board we felt like old friends who've know
each other for years. And the food. We could dedicate an entire novel to
the miracles Petra creates in the closet of a galley. She thought of
every detail from the presentation to the pretend wine (ask Petra about
that). In short, Arno and Petra ensured that our every need was met and
our every expectation exceeded.

Arno and Petra were awesome! They made us feel so comfortable that it
was difficult to leave our new found friends. They are some of the most
friendliest people we've ever met. Feeling Blue was dear. The yacht was
very well maintained, very nicely decorated, comfortable, and well
ventilated. Petra is an absolutely amazing cook! (Better than a gourmet
restaurant). Not only was the food always delicious, but she served it
with a smile and with nice table settings. We definitely ate too much.
The BVI is just beautiful and Arno was great to take us to the best dive
and snorkel areas. This reference is one to absolutely be used. This was
An A++ experience which attribute to Arno & Petra. It was a trip of a
lifetime.

I would like to share my diving experience. I was in the process of
getting my diving certification when I met Arno. I had completed all of
my pool work and knowledge certification before I went to the BVI. I had
my open water dives to complete my certification. I had decided that I
wanted to take scuba diving as A way to over come my fear of the water.
I almost drowned when I was sixteen so I have always been afraid of
especially open water. The first day on Feeling Blue Arno had no idea
what he was getting himself into. We got in the water, just to do some
snorkeling and I completely freaked out. All of my fears came rushing
back to me but Arno was so patient. He was truly an incredible
instructor. I was convinced that scuba diving was not for Me. I told
Arno And Petra that I was no longer interested in finishing my
certification. Later on that same day Arno came to me and asked me what
I was feeling and I explained my fear of drowning. He said..."that if
you really want something you have to fight for it". Because of his
gentle persuasion I ended up finishing my open water certification and
had one of the "BEST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE". Words cannot begin to
express my gratitude to him and Petra. They will be my friends for life.

* How did you enjoy your cruising vacation?
We had a wonderful cruising vacation. Great food, visited wonderful
locations and enjoyed the crew.
* How would you describe your Captain and crew? Were they Courteous?
Helpful? Friendly? Attentive? Knowledgeable?
The captain was very capable, willing to share his knowledge, very
attentive-- finding anchorages that were calm for the children, couldn't
be friendlier or more welcoming. The crew, Petra, is also fantastic. A
wonderful cook, very accommodating and attentive. We were made to feel
welcome as soon as we stepped on board and every minute of our cruise
was a pleasure.
* Tell me about your meals? Did the menus meet your expectations?
The meals aboard Feeling Blue? were fantastic -- right in line with the
finest restaurants. It is incredible what Petra manages to cook up in
that little galley. Our meals surpassed our expectations. I think Petra
should consider a cookbook. Recreating her meals at home would be
fantastic. She was also very accommodating with the children and
modified our meals to everyone's liking. We wanted for nothing.
* How is the yacht? Is she clean and well maintained? Were your cabins
comfortable?
The yacht was well maintained, clean and inviting.
* How did you find the pace and the itinerary of your vacation?
The pace of the cruise was great. Arno combined sailing with just the
right amount of stops to let us enjoy our surroundings and sailings.
* Would you charter this yacht again? If not, please explain:
We would not hesitate to charter this yacht again.
* May we use you as a reference?
Nothing would give me greater pleasure than to be a reference for Petra
and Arno. They are wonderful people who enjoy what their profession and

I had tons of fun! Snorkeling, Swimming, playing in the san, the food
was fantastic, as with the cook, and Arno's dingy rides. This is my

From the moment we stepped aboard "Feeling Blue" we felted at home and
relaxed. It has been a fantastic week filled with adventure, great food
and wonderful company. It was our great pleasure to meet you. The best
thing for our family is our new friendship with you. I will never forget
my birthday breakfast cake...it was the start of a great day!
Thank you for the wonderful food and I will never forget you. I had lots
of fun snorkeling, going to the beach, And Arno's dingy. When I stepped
on the boat I felt like I was going to Have a great time, and I did. I

Everything aboard the Bellini II was just terrific! We all had a great
time especially with Petra and Arno, they were very friendly and
helpful. Petra and Arno did a great job of cooking as well. We never
felt rushed, just fully relaxed, which we all needed from our daily
lives. The beautiful views of all the different Islands made it even
more spectacular for each of us. It was my brother and sister in laws
very first trip like this and they were so astounded at how great
everything was with the boat and with the crew! We will be doing this
again with Arno and Petra as soon as we can!! The very best to them both

Arno & Petra, what an extraordinary week!! Escape from the bustling,
detailed and crisis world to calmness and "no cares" - we could just sit
back - spoiled, well fed (fantastic dinners), entertained, and very
rested. We enjoyed the wide variety of beaches - especially when we did
not have to wear clothes. The short excursion to civilization (the Baths
and St. John) provided us a brief look at the people and history of the
island. Even Hutch's run-in with a jelly fish did not dampen our
enthusiasm for this time with you and the BVI/USVI islands. Thank you so

Petra and Arno are absolutely the best! Made us feel comfortable and we
loved getting to know them! Petra was meticulous in keeping the general
areas and our cabins clean. The food was delicious - great variety and
beautifully presented. Could not have asked for anything more. We loved
the area we sailed, Arno was very accommodating in fitting in Paul's
dives and allowing us to see a lot. We would definitely request to go
with Arno and Petra again. It was perfect in every way. Also we loved
having Samba onboard. We're all dog lovers and she was fun to have

and I just returned from our honeymoon aboard the Hitauk with Arno and
Petra. When I say just returned home ... I mean ... just walked through
the door ten minutes ago. We were so thrilled with our experience we had
to immediately write and provide comments on what we view as the
vacation of lifetime. This was all made possible by Arno and Petra. I
can't say enough about these outstanding people ... I just couldn't even
try. The Hitauk is a great ship but it is the professionalism and

when I say I would charter with Arno and Petra if they were crewing a
rowboat in the middle of the Bermuda Triangle!! They told me that Hitauk
is going to be laid up for a year or two but Arno and Petra will crew
another ship in the mean time. Within the next two weeks we intend to
reserve another charter. I suspect by the time I get through with one or
two weeks at my work I will have 4 or 5 more. I intend to write a very
long email and posit it to whatever web site they end up on saying how
great they are, but right now I just need to unpack. The Hitauk with
Arno and Petra exceeded our wildest expectations. We'll be back and next
time with a crowd.

[Broker}: I appreciate your inquiry. In summary, our sailing adventure
was wonderful. We had never stayed overnight on a yacht, so we went into
it a little uncertain that we would enjoy an entire week. But we
certainly did! Petra and Arno immediately made us feel at home. They
really wanted us to enjoy our stay, and truly considered our interests.
Everything was just super......the food (we still are talking about it),
the accommodations, the sailing & scuba, the weather, the scenery, and
especially the laughter.....cannot be described in a few words. We
returned home very happy knowing we truly had a wonderful vacation.
I

reference for the Hitauk, I would be glad to do this. I hope to talk

"Wow, where do we start. First of all, the food, drink and boat are all
first class. Petra - honestly the food was amazing but then again you
can easily see the 10lbs I gained. The beer, wine, champagne, Scotch and
the Bailey's with ice-cream were great.
The bars were a lot of fun but I had such a great time on Hitauk with
you two that the bars paled in comparison.
Arno- I wish that you would have had a few more cigars with me, but I
understand. Thank you for showing me the ropes and I am looking forward
to coming down this summer for more schooling. And advice on owning a
boat. Thank you for the diving, I was very rusty but it felt great to
dive again.
Words alone cannot express how Marie and I feel about you two. This was
the best vacation I have ever had. Once again thank you very much, you
are both great people that I consider very good friends as well. We will

I just wanted you to know that our vacation was WONDERFUL. Arno and
Petra are unbelievable. We went first class all the way. Nothing could
have made this a better trip than it was. We also got to see their boat
when we were in Virgin Gorda. It is GREAT. In fact, I would like to go
next year but would like to do it on their boat because it has so much
character and room. We took way too many clothes and suitcases, but they
were so sweet about it. Next time I will take a bag with a lot less

anything, we could have changed about our trip. The answer from both of
us was always "Nothing!". Our honeymoon was a trip of a lifetime and we
feel a reason for that is because we were lucky enough to charter Hitauk
and have Arno & Petra as our crew. They are the most gracious hosts and
it is evident that they genuinely like what they do and care about their

substitute for the substantial charm and class of metal and polished
wood. We felt instantly at home. Our suite was spacious and airy, and we
slept like babies rocking gently in the Caribbean breeze!
Petra and Arno also set us at ease with their friendly and personable
demeanors. The sweet quality of the interactions of Petra and Arno as
they would go about the daily tasks of running a charter boat were
endearing. Additionally, Petra's laugh and her fun-loving personality
are a perfect match for her lifestyle of perpetual vacationing.
Petra was also very accommodating and flexible in the preparation and
timing of her awe-inspiring meals! She continually asked for feedback
and input on how she could serve us better. By the end of our week we
felt like serving her! It was truly like eating at a four star
restaurant for three meals a day!
We were so pleased with each of our anchorages during the vacation. We
let Arno and Petra plan our itinerary prior to our arrival based on our
profile information you had requested. After two days on board Hitauk,
Arno and Petra knew us well enough to make suggestions to alter our
planned itinerary to better suit our personal tastes and interests. They
were able to do this successfully because they listen, really listed to
who you are as guest. We did not feel like charter guests, we felt like
friends. And as with friends they wanted to show us the best time
possible in their beautiful Virgin Island home. Having read through

meals, got beaten by a Swiss at Scrabble. We will now seek out German

week we had on your boat. We expected this to be a great vacation but
could never have anticipated the one you provided. The two of you are
fantastic in all ways, and you have a special gift for selecting the

have been immersed in beauty... Thanks to the two of you... and the

"Arno and Petra became our best friends and were the best hosts during
our week on Hitauk. Every day Petra cleaned our cabin, made our bed...
It was perfect! We never got too hot as our cabin had a wonderful cross
breeze going through it. As for the food, we both agreed that eating
Petra's and Arno's cooking was like eating at our favorite restaurant
three times a day. They took us to the kinds of beaches we wanted to see
and to all the right places for snorkeling and night life. We highly
recommend Arno and Petra on the Hitauk for all honeymoon couples! We

scenery has been breathtaking, the snorkeling has been fabulous .

salads... Dave and I came out here to celebrate the start of our lives
together and have had the pleasure to witness what true love grows into

"The
Hitauk, with Petra and Arno Hess, was a number one choice for me, and in
fact the best decision I could have made. […] The Hitauk was
meticulously prepared and clean. Arno was great and always there to
help. He is the coolest diver I have ever seen (I swim a lot but this
guy…Wow. He free dives 40+feet, like a seal!) Petra was like a sister.
Just the best. Her attitude is, do whatever makes you happy and she is
there to please. My 18-year-old daughter had a far better time with her
than with me.
The
boat, our itinerary through the islands, the crew, Petra’s cooking…it
all could not have been 1 percent better. To live on a boat with
strangers for seven days, with a broken rib (I banged myself up on shore
the first night), quitting smoking (hurray! So far 8 days and not a
cigarette) and hurricane Debbie coming right at us, well the people
would have had to have liked each other. And that is how my daughter, my
girlfriend and I feel about Arno and Petra. They have fun with you, they
watch over you, help at every moment…They are a great couple with a
great business. I will be seeing them again in the coming years and will
be recommending them to my friends here in New York that want a special
vacation which cannot be duplicated. Thank you, we had a great time. One
of my finest vacations ever!"
